I am thinking of setting up a malawi tank for the first time.
Where do you buy quality malawis in SA, preferably Cape?

Would you guys recommend mbuna or peacock?

It is a 7ft tank, so space is not a problem.

Of course this breeding project went into overdrive when I don't have access to half the things I need, but it's had a good turnout so far. These are my Nimbochromis polystigma, which apparently go by hyena cichlid, sometimes mislabeled as N. livingstonii. Neither seem as popular as Nimbochromis venestus, but males take on a nice colour when breeding.
I'm going to quickly run out of space as these guys grow up, but I'll cross that bridge when it get to it....
