I went to two CT LFS's today, and one particular LFS had no plants at all other than BL plants and None aquatic plants!

I guess the reason they 'stock' them is that they can make money from it as the unsuspecting buyer has to go back a week later for more plants!

    Go figure!

So true. But on the other hand the LFS that do stock true aquatic plants don't have people working for them that know about plants and when you ask to many questions about the plants they get arrogant, even when you start telling them about the fish they have in there shop. Its like a huge circle, the big LFS who can afford to stock every thing to do with fish just doesn't care and the little LPS around the corner with an owner that is just as bonkers about fish as you are doesn't have the capital to take on the big LFS

The amount of lps I have visited, there are not alot that are totally clued up with stock. I used to work in a fish pet shop 15 years ago so I feel I know know a bit more than the average joe, and i shudder at some of the things that are given as "gospel truth" to unsuspecting clients.
