Heres a tip - take the yolk, wet it slightly so it forms a thinnish paste. Then just touch the tip of your finger on the paste - Then put the tip of your finger just onto the water in your tank - The yolk spreads like an small oil slick, which the babies will munch on, when that is finished just dip your finger again... Only put enough in that they can eat in about 30 seconds...

Yip, the egg yolk is great but the mess it leaves behind is not as great :) Zafgak's method actually works quite well so try that :)

Thanks for the advice my babies are doing great and growing at a steady pace!

    Operation tank 2 complete:
I got a second 100cm tank this weekend and moved all the big guys in there.
    (3xsilver dollar;2xtigerbarb;2xblackwidows;1upsidedowner;1xredtail blackshark; 2xpristella)

My 60 cm are now housing: the fry (91 in breeeding net) mom & dad; 10 neons and a pleco.
Question: How long do i leave the fry in the breeding net before i can 'introduce them to mommy and the neons?
Will the tetra's also eat \ kill the fry?

Mom is still very interested in the babes and nippes at the breeding net...
They're atleast 1/2 centimetre and i would say they doubled in size in the week since birth.

    Thanks all!

Basically the fry can be moved back with the adult fish once they are too large to fit into their mouths. It's difficult to give a time period as growth is dependant on a number of things like water changes, diet etc
