Knight Goby and Mudskipper

    Hey Lizid, can I ask where you got the Goby? Starngely i was actually reading up on that fish on saturday, probably one of the prettier FW fish i've seen.

    Its very similar to my Spotted head sleeper goby. Here's a pic of him.

    He is a salt water fish though so I wouldnt be suprised if your Knight Goby wouldnt prefer brackish water more? I would love to take him but I rate my tank would be too small.

    the knight does well in freshwater but it can also live in brackish each site says something differant

    some people have noted beter success with the knight it freshwater .

    I think its gone .

    Any idea where Lizid got it from? I would like to look at getting one. I thought they weren't available locally.

    I have no clue fly , they are quite territorial so read up on them .

    anyway lizid im getting a 2ft from slagter tomorrow so this weekend or friday ill be able to pick up the mud skipper if all goes well . if there is any equipment from his current tank that you want to get rid of let me know , im trying to source a small filter and heater .

    Guys sorry I was not responding I was with Clients...
    I got the goby from a LPS in the north but there are none left...
    He is s great fish I love him to bits but my tank is way to small for him..so ys he is still around....

    Brads sorry I dont have any equipment the tank is in use. remember the tank was a tmp setup with other fish in it as well...
    I now use it as a show tank for my 10month old he love watching the fish

    Right guys Brads collected MR Skipper...

    Now there is still the issue of the Knight Goby, this is an awesome fish and needs a good home any one interested?

    Otherwise he is going to a shop on sunday.

    Fly they suddenly popped up in LPS about a month back. I think your local LPS might still be able to order you one if you ask.
