I'd also prefer later rather than sooner so that I can try get some money together. End of the month, next month... as long as he hasn't got rid of them all in the meantime. Who should get hold of him to coordinate?

We also need time to set up some tanks. I was going to suggest next weekend as a possibility, but I don't think that gives us enough time. 1st weekend in August is out - Aquarium Expo. I'm busy the next weekend. So any weekend after that. I'll get in touch with him to see when he's available as well.

@Jenn - I can come with you. Although I have spoken many times to Wilfred, I have never met him in person.

 

I am making arrangements to take a li'l drive to pick up some fish. If anybody would like some, let me know. The price he told me is in the region of R30 per pair, but it also depends on which species.

The earliest weekend I can go is the 17th August, but I can go during the week before then. It's starting to look like the week after the Expo. I think all interested parties should meet at the expo to make arrangements - Saturday morning 10 am?

The Expo is the 2-4th Aug so the week after that is the 10-11th. Are you available that weekend or only 2 weeks after the Expo?

 

I can go on the Tuesday or Friday after the expo or the weekend of the 17th. The Friday is a public holiday - so that might work...

 

I am okay with Friday the 9th - did not realise it is a public holiday

 

@Jenn, Wilfred has just contacted me and we need to go as soon as possible.
He is already starting to empty tanks this weekend as the mine has notified him that he needs to move within the next 2 months.

He will also have lots of tanks and equipment for sale.

 

Will the 9th be soon enough?

I really don't know. I think that now that he knows that he has to sell most of his stock that he wants to do it as quickly as possible.
Are you available any sooner then the 9th?
Maybe this coming Sunday or next Sunday?

 

I suppose I could miss the expo on Sunday and only go on Saturday - LOL.
