Yes, I am back, but with a heavy cold so I am at home trying to pull myself together.

However, there have been a number of inquiries on this thread about my Endlers and my Endler Japan Blue crosses. If there is sufficient interest in Gautengeleng then I could consider sending up a shipment to someone who might want to co-ordinate this. Any willing bodies?

    Kind regards,

    Dirk

    Thanks

    OK thanks Francois,

Perhaps those that are interested can indicate who they are and then they can contact you. Can you perhaps send me a PM with your personal email address as I also have other persons that would be interested to take part in the shipment.

    Many thanks and kind regards,

    Dirk

Dirk, please can I be a part of this? I would like 3 trios of the Endler Japan Blue crosses.
Wonderboom is very far from me. I can maybe co-ordinate the Jhb guys if they want to rather collect from Midrand?

Im in aswell, but i first need to hear from @wearsbunnyslippers who i have been in contact with him regarding his strain of japan blues, before i can tell you what i would deffo like, i would also be interested in 2 trios/pairs of the japan blues aswell as the pure endlers. @Irma, i would happily join in with you as midrand is not that far from me, just keep me posted on what is happening please. :) thanks

I'm in too. Just let me know who I need to PM.

Have no problem collecting from Pretoria or Midrand.

2 Trios of endler Japan Blues, would also like 2 Trios of pure endlers but don't have the space at the moment. Can you keep them in the same tank? Then they will probable crossbreed, which is not a good idea?

Yeah, they would definitely crossbreed. Here's my solution, which I'm planning to do as soon as my breeding groups are big enough: have a breeding group of hybrids in one tank and a group of pures in another, then when there are extra males you keep the few best ones in with the females and move the not-so-good ones to a third tank as an all-male show tank where you can have both strains together. MTS gains the upper hand...

    Hi Guys,

Just to clarify a few things. I do not have vast numbers of the endler x japan blue, maybe 15 pairs, and I will be selling pairs not trios as I have an equal ratio of male and female. The price will be R25 per pair. What I also want to add is that just like my normal Japan Blues this strain is throwing blondes which are pale sky blue but some of them keep the black contrast markings in the tail, very striking. Then they are not fully fixed and inbred yet so there is some variation in the blue, some of the colour goes into iridescent green. I need to take some pics and then you can see what you are letting yourself in for.

Normal Endlers I have lots at R12 per pair.

Just to confirm, Endlers and Endler x Japan Blues will cross if you keep them together and I would advise against this.

I also have some smaller pairs of Apistogramma aggasizzi at R80 per pair.

Let us see what we can get together, right now I have a massive flu and this transport will definitely not take place this week still so we have time.

    Kind regards,

    Dirk

i and a group of friends are south american dwarf fanatics :) so when ever we get the chance to expand the collection we grasp it. i know that we are at least 7 people who would order a pair. so it will be worthwhile to ship it? i will pick it up in JHB at OR mambo even if we must

@Ryno, I recently bought 2 pairs of the Agassiziis from Dirk and they are beautiful both in colour and temperament. I've been holding them in my 3ft community tank until their tank is ready and there has been no problems even though I have a pair of Triple Red Cockatoos in the tank with them.

@Dirk Bellstedt, did you manage to bring in the Red Neon Rainbows? I would really be interested in a few of these when you have successfully bred them. I hope you had a good trip and that you get over your cold soon.

    Hi Guys,

Let us look at all when I feel better please, I am going to get to bed in a few minutes.

We will talk about the Red Neon blue eyes when I might have offspring, I have two pairs that have settled in well, but I do not count any chickens before they are hatched, just in principle, I find that Murphy jumps me when I do this.....

Anyone else interested in fishes please post on this thread and then we can see how we can co-ordinate this whole lot, but I am sure it can be done.

What I would also like to say is that I have about 12 pandurini fry that are now 1.5 cm so these can also be put on your wish list soon.

    Kind regards,

    Dirk

Hi Dirk Bellstedt I will definitely take 3 pairs of your Endler x Japan blues. Would it also be possible to get a few of the Spaten Gold guppie / Endler crosses from you when you're ready?
