    Hi Julie,

I do have some available, I just need to get 4 pairs out for another person, so then I can see if there are enough of reasonable size to part with? How many are you looking for?? Please note its R10 each or R15 per pair (Male and Female).

Let me know and we can make an arrangement!

    Regards
    G!

    Hey Julie,

Of course by all means come and view them first, I was more interested to know how many you were interested in so that I can make sure there are enough bigger ones available!!

To be honest, the young ones that I'm selling will not show much or any colour yet, but you can see the parents, which will give you an idea of what they will look like once fully coloured up. There are a number of males who are starting to show a little colour when viewed from above!! The Parents are quite stunning when you see how bright their colours are!! The pics on the previous pages don't do them justice!

Let me know when you are interested in coming?? You should be able to send PM's now, so if you want to keep details off forum, maybe PM me!

    Regards
    Big G!

    Hi Guys,

Oscar, just go back in the thread and you will see some pics....

I just want to put some things on record here though. The species name of normal guppies is Poecilia reticulata and as you all know there are hundreds of strains of these around. Endler guppies such as these being offered here, belong to a separate species called Peocilia wingei. They have only been scientifically described as being different a few years ago. As a result it is important to note that they should not be kept with normal guppies, that is if you want to be able to say that you have pure Endler guppies, because they very definitely can interbreed and all sorts of new colours are being bred as a result of crosses now.

All of these guppies from Gareth and Ace originate from a single pair of wild type Endler guppies that I brought to South Africa from Germany in June 2009, so they are all related but you can also see that they are highly prolific because I think there must be hundreds that folks are keeping in SA now. You can also always obtain more from me as I have many adults always available.

They are highly active, dead easy to keep and great for beginners, but their colours are also very attractive as a result of which they are an attractive addition to any community tank in which small fishes are kept.

    Kind regards,

    Dirk
