    @Singularity...

Thanks for the comment. It's always appreciated when an experienced member gives you the nod on something you've put your back into.

As for freebies from @Henk Hugo... I've tried to BUY from him in the past... but he refuses. He says he's a distributor...

I actually decided to help a fellow sponsor out. Prove to the forum that the product WORKS... and that it works WELL.

I'm planning on doing exactly the same with DSD products on my main display soon. Going to go entirely DSD fertz on there, and get some PROOF out there that the product works. Often marketing needs to be accompanied by PROOF. All talk is not good if we cannot show that the product works.

Our sponsors put a lot of time and effort into this forum, and more importantly, into the hobby. It's only fair to give them fair game.

Dirk provides his expert advice on the forum, in exchange, TASA allows him to sell dsd.

I did use dsd on my low tech. Then when I went hightech I used the ei ala dischem... which has honestly non wowwed me. So I am going to go back to dsd and try this route.

Sounds good! Great to see what results you get and gives us all confidence in the different products too and what works best where.

I've seen Zoom's nano tank in recent days, it's like a tropical forest in there. B-E-A-Utiful!

Man this thread name confused me ... I am sure it did not start its life in 2010 as "Zoom's (Microbelift) 38l Nano 2012" good thing vbulletin resolves to thread ID and not the name. I was actually looking for this old nano thread a few weeks back when we we chatted about doing a terrace hardscape but could not find zoom's picture since my manual index is based on the actual name and not the thread ID...

anyway, micorbelift .. that is the biggest collection of micorbelift product I have ever seen in JHB, truly impressive. Question is, do they mix well i.e. if I am contemplating using special blend + GSC + bloom and grow on my ADA propagation tank, would this be an overkill, do you do 1/2 doses since special blend and GSC both have a mix of bacteria?

@f-fish I dispatched a whole lot of stock to @Jungle Aquatics on Friday - should be delivered on Monday.

They mix perfectly. All the bacterial products can be used at the same time. There will be some overlap w.r.t. the species of bacteria. I would use the Bloom and Grow range as directed.

@Henk Hugo, my boet only has the highest praise for MicrobLift. Might I ask your opinion?
I have a track record with killing plants - a habit I would like to break :) My water tends to be alkaline, I have very basic lighting (leaning towards 'poor' lighting, some might say). I don't struggle with algae of any sort at the moment. Got a 4ft tank, with few plants at present. What combo's of Microbe-Lift could I use to get the plants growing?

@Zoom - all good manual index has been updated.

@Henk Hugo - good to know but 12 hours to late, I might swing by next week to go and have a look at the rest of the range ... I got so desperate that I place an order yesterday ... probably got over charged but it is what it is.

Suppose we will have a thread clean-up here soon

I do not know if they first source local or not - I take it that you are not supplying to them yet? They are in CT maybe stop buy and see if you can?

It an illegal import they are doing on your behalf. They are bypassing our exclusivity agreement etc. The last two products are sizes we don't import. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
