    Not correct.E.parvula is "dwarf hairgrass".
The common hairgrass that's readily available from LFS in S.A. is E.acicularis.

Also known as umbrella grass.New plantlets are formed at the top of the leaves, creating a umbrella-like appearance. Can be used as a mid ground plant.

I beg your pardon, it is acicularis.

It's actually a very messy and untidy plant!

Nice thing about Nano tanks... easy to scape and play with!!!

    New look yet again.
Still not liking that grassy stuff.
Change is coming soon... thinking of moving the grass to the Main tank, and using the moss from the main tank here.

Tried some hairgrass in my main tank and I think someone should design filter material outta it because it captures every stupid tiny bit of detritus! I see you have the same issue with the loose bits sticking to your filter inlet

Not really. I fiddle too much.

Not if you have fairly high currents.

I have a sponge in front of the inlet... Last time I didn't... and the 50 fry I had disappeared over night!

Looking at pictures from just over 2 months ago I can see this tank has come a long way. Already getting the "rescape-itch" but resisting the urge for now. I have some new ideas on backgrounds that I am playing with... just need to find the time, and money.

Nothing much has really happened in this tank. Still dosing with Flourish Comprehensive, Excel, and adding extra Potassium as I was getting a fair amount of green hair algae on the glass. I covered the rocks with some other moss (from main display tank) and they seem to have filled in nicely. Also enjoying the look of the tree moss.

As you can see... plenty of Endlers!

Front lraves a little to thin for spiky.
Some days I kind of thought it may be erect moss.

@Vis... there's 2 different mosses in that tank. The one on the tree, and the one on the rocks.
