LOL you just ruined this thread for me, screw my dream tank, I want your dream tank too!

 

%^$%$#*^&%* for some reason the pictures of that tank does not show in my browser and i want to see that tank. the livestock list sounds amazing.

 

I can't seem to see the pics not sure if other people can but google Behemoth 1600 Gallon tank and read the info or you will not appreciate the beauty of this tank.

So this is the first thing I want people to see when They walk in to my home. Should be about 5 meters long And nice and high.

 

@Ruan i cant tell you how long i have been looking for this picture to show people how simple but effective a tank can be.
im quite big into the planted tank scene but this for me is the ultimate discus tank. the fish are the tank not the plants, truly amazing!

i feel the same but i would like those discus to be blue diamonds or red tourquiose, to me that would be amazing!!!

 

I think that big piece of wood is what makes the tank

 

the reason you think that is becuase of the golden ratio. this makes it pleasing to the eye. cleverly placed rocks would also be nice but the white substrate it needs a nice dark colour. also the discus colours will really pop with this.

Basically the rule of thirds or the golden mean. I just meant its a very nice looking piece of driftwood. (colour and shape)

 

But I think the pic is also heavily photoshopped. But yes, that wood is awesome, must weigh a ton!

 

Not heavily photoshopped - just a good photo with good lighting.

That tank is very beautiful because it's very clean and the contrast. Contrast between dark and light (duh), and also the high spot leading down to the low spot. The fish in there also makes a difference. Cardinals wouldn't have worked (imho).

 

He could have photoshopped that pillar out of the picture

@Franna I do believe that the 'pillar' is in fact a part of the filtration system. Or is it just me?
