You know you're addicted when your mom hands you a card with money inside for Christmas and informs you it's ONLY to be spent on more fishies!!! ;-)))))

 

when... you spend an hour on Christmas day stitching what was a 1/2cm scrap of susswassertang that has now grown to a 2cm piece(whoopee!) back onto a pebble - I'm getting quite good with hairnet! LOL!

addicted to fish keeping - me never, ok maybe a little OCD or compulsive hoarding, but when you hear the rain that you love and wish that boxing day is clear skies so that you can finish moving the outside tanks around, ok maybe it is an addiction

Yup mom know me well... Already spent some of it this morning! More evidence of addiction - going out to buy fish the day after Christmas when u still exhausted from cooking + celebrating, then buying a whole new setup to grow plants... *sigh*

You stop of at builders for some house-hold pluming (rubber for the cistern) leave with glass to build just one more tank - and forget to get the rubber.

Guys, the surest indicator: Your sleeves are always wet!

 

When you add to your house a new living room and instead of adding a garage (needed) as well you add a fish room.

When you walk into a pet shop and the assistant tells you the name of a fish you are looking at (I think they presume all people that come in the shop to be totally ignorant) and your response is yes the scientific name of that fish is...........

Wife read this thread and her response was that all this sound so familiar.

when u wakeup in the middle of the night 2 check if your fish is okey. LOL

 

when you google Oscar and get frustrated when all you get is some guy that shot his girlfriend.

 

when your girlfriend or wife starts getting algae on u!

 

When you are building a new place and the plugs should be put in where the fish tanks are going to stand

When you move furniture into said place and all furniture should be arranged to get the best view of the fish tank.

 

Oh and another one. If your boyfriend doesn't give you flowers, but a co2 diffuser :love: @ivan
