Worms / Internal Parasites? - Feeling despondent

Had my water tested and it was near perfection. PH came in a little high on 8.

Medication administered over the last couple of months:

* Probibio's Worms & Parasites
* Polyguard
* Panacur

I use Paraguard once a month or whenever introducing new fish to my aquarium.

I would appreciate all input and help. At a rate of one fish every two weeks I'll soon run out of stock and this is definitely not helping my budget either!

@francoisve How much panacur do you use per 10L water? Is it panacur bs? It is normally used for cattle, horses etc.?

 

4 ml per 100 lt every 7 days repeat 3 times is what my vet perscribed....

 

@francoisve and @Cle07044 - I'm very happy to report that my fish are doing VERY well! This product really works!

Got mine 200ml for R104 from central vet.hope is right stuff.

 

Looks cheap... Dont know if it is the same stuff though, what is "BS"?

Took me a while to find someone that could confirm but the BS just indicates that it's the liquid form of the product. You get it in tablet form, as a paste, in powder form etc.

Happy to report that I've not had any further deaths! Seems my problem has been solved with great success!

 

Urghhh!

Almost two months with no deaths and then two deaths again in the past two days! Lost a Gourami and an Oto!

Doing a treatment again with Panacur.

Question: Now that we've established that it's worms and that Panacur works, where on earth do they come from?

 

Must be in the water or it might come from the stock of the LPS. Think I got an infected fish this weekend. Lost 3 otto's. And the Pleco seems a bit sick as well (swollen belly)
Chucked one Yellow barb and going to dump another one tonight that has a red belly.
