This is what the bakkie looked like turn right side up. People don't understand how I came out without a scratch. I am blessed to be alive.[IMG][IMG]

It's sad knowing these things are hold us back where we could of had our hands full with things to do in the 21 days.

I just have the canister to service and maybe some wood work over the weekend then I'm going to drive my mother crazy because i get depress when I'm inside for too long.

Neighbor suggest i sit on the roof and look over the neighborhood

My daughter in law went to Pick n Pay on Thursday before the lockdown and while in the queue to pay, a Lady came behind her with a trolley packed to the top with sweets.. chocolates.. chips.. biscuits etc..
Jokingly she said to the Lady.. is that your groceries for lockdown?
The Lady laughed and said no.. no.. taht we did 2 trolleys full yesterday... this is to keep us sane!

Won’t lie, I stocked up like that too let the folks do the actual shopping and I made the snack trolley.. wasn’t exactly huge (just a basket) but all I know is the only stuff left is my healthy snacks, the folks chowed down over the weekend... great for their “diets”... I guess it’s the “die sien ek, die eet ek”...

They have really clamped down on stock piling here.
For online grocery shopping they will deliver a maximum of 80 items - 3 units of each product.
And if you go shopping at the supermarket, you are only allowed 3 units per product.

Problem is, it's too easy to get caught up in it.
When the stockpiling started, my mrs asked if I thought she needed to.
I said no, just buy what we need as and when. But a week or two later, when we genuinely needed some of the basics, you couldn't get many items anymore. So we had to change our approach and get various bits in bulk so at we wouldn't run out.
    Stupid herd mentality
