Hi i remember you from APSA - been a while since I've seen you around. Welcome back. I hatched cory eggs a few weeks back and these fry looking like proper cories now. Eating well and growing fast. The Well of Wyrd is the thread if you're interested in watching my 20 day old noob fish keeping - first time I've hatched eggs and kept fish...

I will have to, I can't take them with me to the UK once we have saved up enough to immigrate there. That also includes selling all my tanks and equipment as well.

Ag, I will not give up the fish keeping hobby - once I get a job there, I'll get another tank and start all over again there. I can't get work here - it's been roughly a good 4 or 5 years since I lost my job and my parents have sat me down, to think carefully about this decision. I would be better off in the UK as there's more jobs for deaf people than here - every resume I've send in, I've only had 2 replies and no answer to whether they need me to come in for an interview. People are too scared to employ deaf people and I usually have to go the drastic method - ask people I know for a job and that's the only way I can get work here until it dries out and then it starts all over again.

Let me guess to how big they are - around the size of a vitamin pill but thinner. I'm not sure how long it will be before they become fully grown adults - Google doesn't spit out "exact" information about their true age or breeding so my guess is up to a year before they can breed and probably 3 or 4 months before they are adult size.

Thanks for this update :) I'm also in the process of dusting off my old 4ft. Hopefully I can get it up and running in the near future (after some repairs & modifications). Was wondering about the invasives, since I've been seeing all manner of snails & shrimp for sale at the LFS (was taboo, last time I checked).
