I hang my head in shame Henk.

And I really wanted to see your Koi pond... Been watching the photies and very impresed. I never use to like koi ponds, but since starting to keep fish... it's something that has grown on me.

Are we only talkin forum members or tanks that we'v seen?think henk has the biggest from the forum..but i'v a tank in the making..if i can recall it's 1,5m wide,1 m high n 5meters long..i had a 3m x 85 x 65..sump was 2m by 65 by 50..must remember you cant actually count the sump's volume coz a sump wont be filled up like a normal tank..it'l probably only be half the volume of a fishtank with same dimensions

I have my display tank in the shop being 200x70x70=980l. Wild caught Malawi cichlids in there. Algae growth on rocks superb as the early morning sun shine directly onto it for about an hour or so. 180x80x60=864l tank at home.

Ash - its MUCH more fun to keep a pond than a tank :D

FC - they are but not willing to ship to DBN. one of my clients will be taking them all

SARF - that size tank wont be class and costs as much as most folks cars to build :D

Henk, just a Q: we have two small empty koi ponds, and we don't want to start them up again because of the Great Eishkom - what do you do when your power goes off for hours at a time?

Yes that is correct. Which one of the many are you? About 40-50 species. Had I started my shop when you met me? Have had amazing response to the 980l Malawi tank in the shop. Most people think it is salt water and are surprised when I tell them they are fresh water and Malawi cichlids. I have my rocks completely covered in green algae and most fish eat this throughout the day.
Had some Kab. fuelleborni "Katale" that I took to the shop to sell. Dropped a male and two females into the 980 and they coloured up 100x better than those for sale and also grew 3x faster. Had them ignore a feed as they were grazing.
