I agree!!! I've been wanting a pair of cacatuoides - male and female :\ so bad. Just hard to find a pair in the KZN necks of my woods. Obviously I'm in the wrong area.

@23skyline ... yes, apparently there are around 160 or so cacs being grow out for a local store.

Rumour has it there might be trifasciata fry popping out soon again as well. Will keep my ear to the ground for more updates :D

@nate: LOL, I was wondering what was the story about the past only to realise you meant post.

Damn @Deadpool and I"m as poor as a church mouse because of the Christmas season and having my niece / nephew staying here until my brother and his wife comes over, money just goes out of the window. I don't even have an airpump either. Not in a good position or good timing really, I'm going to have to forgo this opportunity and hopefully when I'm set up properly then I'll think about it. We just lost a dog over the weekend and one dog caught a baby hare, still alive - I couldn't even kill it to put it out of its misery as it was left paralysed :( So I really need to think about it carefully. I have less attachment to plants than to animals.

People can usually help out if you share your location. Good to hear you found some anyway, I see them fairly rarely in CT.

I currently have some veijita and hongsloi (type ii) fry as well as erythrura (sp Rio Mamore) with eggs. Will be looking into acquiring a good few more species in the future.
