    the second smaller one came with the tank, and i have a pair of breeding BN Plecos, with almost 200 babies in the tank, so this helps to keep the amount of fish going, and the powerhead is for more flow and to make sure the CO2 gets to all the deadspots

    Thanks Marius! Will update in a month or so, as i just did a mini rescape by removing plenty of Sunset and replaced it with some HM, once the HM has filled in I will post again!

    P.S. your 3ft got confiscated by the missus for her guppies so the plants moved to the 2ft for now

    @DewaldC well, im dosing EI and Fe, with CO2 at around 4bps

    haha, yeah

    This tank is now starting to show some results, did a small redo in the right hand corner, removed the front part of the Hygro, added some small pieces of HM and the other side some Star grass. added another piece of wood and started a carpet of E Tenellus

    now that i have the time and im not using the Tab i can tell you more about the ferts.

    i use the APSA Fert Calc to work out how much i need for my tanks:

    KNO3
    KH2PO4
    K2SO4

    and then for FE i used the Trelmix at 2ml per day for 5 days a week.
    But now i have moved over to Chelated Iron.

    For trace is use the Seachem Comp at 5ml per week.

    50% water change once a week, and thats about it for the Ferts

    As you can see, the left side needs some other plant to fill it in, and the HM behind the wood must also grow and form a bush, but besides that, its all good!
