In high school my computer login was Linkin so I used it to register everywhere except for the ps3 site (it was already taken), so I changed it to LiNk$... people started calling me Linxie and I guess it just stuck. Rhymes with my real name too which is why I like it.

You are 'Plane' Crazy?? You never mentioned that to me!! I've been going to Airshows since I was 2 years old!! Can tell you what just about any military aircraft is, usually before the person next to me has even seen the aircraft, and love with a capital LOVE flying!! No other sensation is quite like it!!

I go to the airport on a regular basis just to sit and watch the planes. I have a little radio that I can tune into the tower and listen to the air traffic control. Really wicked. I'm more into the commercial planes than the private stuff

 

I have my PPL and im Almost done with my COM. Its allot of fun.

 

I thought about doing my PPL when I moved out here, its about one 10th the price it is in the UK to do it here, but still a lot!!

I decided that it was an unnecessary expense, since I would not earn any money from it, and would then still have to pay everytime I wanted to fly!!

Still, would have been awesome!!

It was my dream to one day go up in the Lightning, Bucaneer or even the Hunter, but again its Sooooo expensive!! Maybe one day?? haha! I can but dream!!

Gareth, I can't even begin to explain my passion for aviation... my fav aircraft is the Hawker Hunter (single seater)

 

I take it we'll do a meetup at the airshow this year then ^^,
I'm crazy about planes too have no idea why, but I love them... work quite close to the airport to, which is great.

 

have your'll thought about purchasing a flight simulation game? obviously, its not the same, but it will be fun!!!
