Troys new tank

    This was suppose to be posted on friday. Just took the pics now.

    @shihr

    I want to remove the hair grass as my apple snails are munching on it.

    I want to use the glosso you gave me. Good or bad idea?

    Please excuse the mess at the top of the tank and algae on glass. Still working on that

    try some out.. use afew nodes and plant them.. leave some still floating..dont put all your eggs in one basket :p

    but just rem, if the glosso doesnt get enough light, it may start to grow vertically..ur tank should be fine though..

    Lol will just add a few and leave it for 2 weeks or so. Must get the Co2 running again 1st

    believe it or not, glosso can do well without co2 as well! i grew mine in my 2 ft for 2 months and it was fine.. was just abit slow

    If it grows in this tank i want it grow slow as i must stick my whole arm in there to reach the bottom....tiring after a while.

    Will be opening a new thread sometime on my 2ft using Glosso

    Glosso won't work in this tank.... caught my Aires tetras having a lekke feast on the leaves which are no more....

    oh ya, forgot u had those.. mine also did.. then i got rid of them :p (gave to my friend) the glosso had to stay:p

    Will be adding CO2 tonight. Plants seem to be growing very slowly

    DIY for now. Have to find time before i can get the stuff i need for my canisters. Unless you know of an online store?

    just beat me to it, yep ebay cheapest, full regulator, with solenoid and needle valve i think was about $60

    Been over 3 weeks since my last update.

    Removed hair grass and placed to rocks. Added black sand.

    That is looking rather decent TroyFish ... last time I saw this tank it was a twinkle. Nice contrast and shapes.

    It's always amazing how black substrate suddenly makes the tank sparkle. Nice one!
