    For now just the one small piece of wood until i get some nice wood thats higher than the water. But mudt wait for the plants to grow in also. Thanx guys.

    So i decided to set up diy co2 while waiting or my system to arive ob the latest next week thursday. Getting 1bps at the moment. Used a 5L oasis bottle and a 2L coke bottel with sugar bi carb and instant yeast. With an airstone. Very simpel setup

    Thanks for the pics. Is the coke bottle to prevent yeast stuff from pumping into the tank (filter)?

    Try put the airstone under the outlet of the filter so that it spreads more.

    Why don't you just plug it directly into the top of the sub filter?

    I think if the CO2 moves through the filter media in high concentrations it will kill the filter bacteria.

    @Ryno - Welcome to the club. You could trim it and make it a feature :blink1:. I'm currently trimming BBA away faster than my plants can grow so I'm going backwards!
