The cube!

Thanx @ mydummyname trying my best. I probsbly must be more patient with the water. Also its a big cube so water must be extra clear to see all the way to the back

 

i'm sure it will clear up with the water changes as well dude...

 

Its just cloudy. Weird this is my 6th tank i set up and the first time i have this problem. Just showing no tank is alike.

@Ryno Maybe it's a bacterial bloom.

I used alot of gravel from the previous tank and the filters and 100L of the water also. But must be a bit of a bloom. But evetytime that was completely cleared up in 48hours max. Think the filtration isnt the best for the big surface area. hOB doesnt make alot of current. Si i dont think the sirculation is the best. Going to lool for a canister next month maybe. Will see if the wavemaker makes a difference.

 

@Ryno - Hey dude your tank is awesome.:blink1: Don't be to bummed about the murkiness. Can't you put all the filters from all your decommisioned tanks in the cube?

 

Already have 2x HoB and a dolphin 800 internal filter in here. Think by monday it will be clear. Going to get a wavemaker

 

Is it white water or particles?

 

Cloudy wAter. No particles.

 

Loads of purigen?

 

250 grams of purigen. So loads yes. Its must be lack of sirculation with the filters. So the bloom takes longer to clear. Rule on for any fish keeper. Loads of patience! Something i find hard to have

Must say my tiger lotus and the other lilly pushed out new leaves just after 3days of planting

 

OK water is almost 100% clear. actually getting quite good growth without any ferts.

 

Congrats man. 3 days and already got growth! Soon you'll have to get the other tanks up and running for all the cuttings :bigsmile:
