@Ryno - Look how nice that piece turned out that i got.:) This piece cost me R20.00. I will look for you the next time I'm at the lfs :top:This piece only weighs 0.5kg and is almost twice the size of my hand. I'm sure it wouldn't cost too much to send a piece20120903_223540.jpg20120903_223602.jpg

@Ryno - Nice lighting dude. Is it one of the fancy units with individual light timers?

I saw one of those at the LFS the other day. Amazing what they can do. Lights come on at different times, brightness changes on individual bulbs etc etc...I just bought R30.00 timers to do a similar thing. I believe you can overdrive/underdrive flourescents so I will look into that.

@Ryno - Do you not use any timers? Do you switch lights on and off every day?

No timers at all. Do everything like clock work. Nothing a minute to late. Fish get fed every morning at 7 and at 7 in evening again. Lights on from 8 to 8. Sometimes up to 9 if i busy with the tank.

You feed your fish before the lights come on? I read that you should only feed your fish a half hour after your lights come on.

Dude I sometimes feed my Tiger barbs in the morning without the light being on don't really think it can harm anything.
