install it on the outlet of your filter. co2 gets injected mixed in the watter flow with the bio balls so it disolves more into the water. less equipment in the tank and more co2 in the water. but i got it off the internet so dont know if teres copy right on the diy. but itworks wonders very easy to make. doesnt really restrict the flow also

Looking really great Ryno, enjoyed the development pics ! Of course the wider the lens you use and the closer to the front glass you take the snap, the greater you can show off the perception of depth, but then the background plants will look pretty small of course.

I'm currently also going down the DIY inline reactor route and need to join into the largish half inch ribbed pipes of the Fluval Fx5 canister. I was just trying to work your fittings out from your pics, as have watched the various you tube DIY clips, but not sure I can get all those parts locally. A few quick questions -
    - What fitting did you chose as a link/join with the Co2 tubing into the reactor pipe or did you just drill a smaller enough hole so that it just fitted with a squeeze and some PVC cement/Silicon ?
    - Length of your reactor pipe, I need to diffuse into 760Ls.
    - looking at your pics it seems the Co2 pipe enters quite high up the chamber or is the chamber upside down, presumably I should fit the c02 pipe so it enters as low as possible in the chamber so the C02 can mix as it rises up the length of the chamber or am I missing something ?

i drilled a small hole and also used pvc cement to make sure it doesnt leak. i made it so that it flows from totop bottom. so thats so its high in the chamber also have like 6 big plastic bio balls in it. helps dissolving the co2 the pvc pipe is 30cm high. any help or other questions feel free to ask

Draw us a lil pic please. I also want to try it some time. The diffuser isn't doing it for me. Too much bubbles reaching the surface.

Awesome. Thank you. Do whenever you have time. Just a quick one.
And you say it works well.? It's connected in the outlet pipe right? Is there any bubbles in the water leaving the outlet?

its very easy to make. connected on the outlet. i blast co2 into my tank and don see bubbles comming from the spray bar at all. i must just figure out how to draw the stuff.i just followed a internet links instructions to build it. if you dont get exactly the same parts as they use youcan improvise.

Thanks bud, is there any reason for pushing the flow down hill as this presumably might mix the co2 better rather than just letting the bubbles rise in the chamber if the flow was the other way...? Would be good to find a nossle that one could mount and glue from the inside of the chamber sticking out the drilled hole so that one can easily fit the co2 piping.

I appreciative it's early days, but can you easily unscrew any of the chamber ends that are not glued for periodic servicing and cleaning or would that be necessary I wonder .. ?

i used thread tape on everything that screws in and pvc cement. my cannister runs with a prefilter and then the cannister also filters so i didnt think that i would really have to clean it. it sealed it that way so that im sure it cant leak. you can probably drill the pvc and isnstall a one way valve in to fit te co2 tubing. would also make less chances for any leaks. i made it to push the water down because it will push more against the co2 that would want to rise. was thinking it would help to dissolve it better
