Tank Size for Angelfish

Guppies this is not going to end well , would rather put a 2 foot tank up under the show tank in the cupboard or garage and keep the guppies in there, look around for otto's to keep the tank and glass clean.

 

Not ending well in what way. For the guppies or Angels. What is a otto.

 

The guppies well get eaten , but there breeding rate is going to be a problem when you will have lots of guppies in your angle show tank.
Ottos are very similar to Chinese algae eaters

No problem get a 2foot tank and keep it in the garage with guppies that would be the best

 

Once I have My tank up and running I want to use a Fluval or Eheim Externel Filter.
I worked out that the tank 120*50*60 capacity is about 300Lt. Which filter model should I get.

 

if you do the overflow you will be using a sump (a second glass tank under the display tank where you have all the filter media, heaters and other equipment that you may want to use), which is better anyway, and a bit cheaper if you work on a budget.

 

Correct Me if I am understanding incorrectly. If You use a sump You place the heaters, etc in the sump and not the tank.
