there is no comparison being made between MH & CFL...

again I'll say do your research before posting here...there many commercially available pendants manufactured by leading US companies that use CFL's exclusively for marine tanks.

I really dont see you posting any facts here nor are you sharing your experience???

Yes I have used T5's before. I do not have documented evidence of the growth of the plants, by currently my growth on the CFL is doing far superior than the T5 did.

(I also need to add that I am referring to my small Nano tank. In the bigger tank I am using T8's. If I were to do a custom larger tank I would run multiple CFLs hanging in a pendant style)

But I echo Dolphin's response. Do your research.

 

nimsy i cant seem to find any of your details regarding tanks .fish kept photos etc .
Mabe you can provide us with that information so we can see and undrstand where you are coming from.
