    Sitting in isolation at my parents house and wondering how my tank is doing.

    We have a small family business and last week both my parents tested positive. Then my wife got sick, but luckily tested negative and when my throat started itching over the weekend we decided to keep our distance as she is 8+ months pregnant. We also decided it was the safest to get me out of the house away from my wife and her home business. Luckily my parents have a outside room with a bathroom and they felt safe because they just went through isolation. All this just because of a sore throat and a bit of headache( I know I'm lucky it is only that), but better safe than sorry. My wife does not have a license so my sister is helping her with food and my mom sleeps at our house with her just to keep an eye on her. Not sure if they would have tested me in another town, but here everybody knows each other and all agreed just because my wife is pregnant it is better that I test too.

    Almost the weekend

    We have had a massive storm in the early hours of the morning. Very windy and lots of rain.
    Loads of broken branches and debris in the road.

    So far, so good.

    We had another storm earlier this week, the north of the country was worse affected than we were.
    Loads of homes lost power.

    So at work, conservatory roof has been blown off
    And carport roof been blown off.
    And the wind still rages

    Apparently a lot of damage been done around the country :(
