I haven't seen my assassin snails for a long time. Only the empty shells let me know they're still alive

 

Very low KH is also a cause of death for ramshorns, just FYI.

I spend a magical weekend in Wales with a very special friend. It was a trip worth the 4 hour train ride and very memorable, I actually enjoyed myself and it was the first time I have gotten out of my comfort zone, after being a recluse for nearly 8 years. We stayed at an hotel in a area called Clyro and travelled around the area. We spend most of the day in Hay-on-Wye, a sleepy bookshop village and it was lovely, so many book shops to walk into and look at everything, some places have extremely old books had covers that were actually made from vellum.

These two shrimp and baby ramshorn decided that the golden apple snail from the pool was much too dirty and needed a clean!

I put the apple snail in my tank to check if it'll eat my plants. Surprisingly it doesn't!
