    I managed to get hold of some chili rasbora. 10 of them. Been in a quarantine tank for a week now, all coloured up and very active. Not shy at all.

    Yup...pretty much the entire plot is like that. Lots of clay and lots of rain. I've had to go everywhere in gumboots

    A classmate of mine got run over by a bus today during a cycling race. He didn’t make it. I cried ugly tears, was the best kind of person. Has two boys. Life is fleeting. He will be sorely missed.

    Nice to take the mind off of things and encourage other people’s MTS :)

    Got up this morning and my tank is in a spawning Fest

    On one corner near my filter in takes my red shoulder pair spawning (got the male just over a week ago)

    In a cave next to that my dragonblood pair

    In a cave at the middle of the tank a pair of Demasoni

    On the far left of my tank under the output of my filters the S. Fryeri.

    And a kenyi male is doing the shimmering in front of a female but she seems interested in him.

    Never witnessed a mass spawn like this in all my time of keeping African cichlids.
