    I just found out last night that a guy I grew up with is arrested for killing his wife. Probably one of the quietest guys I know. Sucks really

    Yeah man.. another reason I'm thankful I've taken my daughter to grow outside of SA. I'm not saying here is 100% crime free but you never hear of it so that's a little calming. Also they're quite on top of things here

    Moral of the story - it’s the quiet ones we need to watch out for!

    Yes I remember crime being basically a non issue over there. I would leave my trolley full of paid goods anywhere in the mall and it would still be all there an hour later.

    Yeah lol and that still happens. Go to the kids play area and you'll see a parking lot for filled up trollies staying there for hours on end. Also you see cars left idling outside in car parks with no driver present or in sight.

    Girlfriends mom had a really nasty accident where she got kicked in the head by one of the horses - no long term damage, but she lost the confidence in dealing with them, so slowly shut the school down.

    Not good, but thankfully she is ok.
    Yeah, that's the thing when dealing with horses. Can't be nervous around them. They sense it straight away.

    It's a year since my accident. Was off for 3 months while my arm / shoulder healed.
    And then lockdown. So was away from riding for about 5 months
    In a way, the extra time did me good, as I was fairly well healed by the time I returned, and was in the right mind set to get back

    This morning someone in the Eastern Cape fish club died from Covid. Feeling a bit sad. We werent close but I still knew the person. I saw him 2 weeks ago when he gave me some plants
