That's just what I was attempting to do. Keep everything more towards fish in a more positive tone.

Took me exactly an hour from when I joined the que to leaving the store. With the store this packed, no speak of social distancing. Going to a lfs would’ve been a hundred times less hazardous

    So true
Going to the lfs can be extremely hazardous for the budget.
Edit: at least there aren’t any panda loaches to tempt you

My opinion on the economy - it will recover. I think the potential for loss of life in SA is massive. Saw the stats today - we are almost double Italy's cases at the same number of days. Things are going to get very rough.

I feel pretty good about it actually. I don't have the stress of not being paid, I am sure Aspen will provide all the required measures to keep everyone safe. I wont be bored by day 7 of the lock down. Honestly I would rather be out in the middle of things doing something than sitting at home. Always been my preference to be involved in whatever is going down.

Same here, in the food industry and we all need to eat, but you do worry about your co workers..you know that you are being safe and responsible, but you just don't know if everyone else is.

My Mrs is also a key worker, and her response was the same.
She said she would rather be at work doing something productive.
Than sitting at home getting bored and frustrated like so many others

I'm an analytical chemist. My team does method development and validation as well as provide support services. We have a steriles lab, a high potency lab and a oral dosage lab that my teams assists when required.

No, we are generic. We dont do medicine development. Our formulation scientists (who are pharmacists) develop the generic medicine using only the same active ingredient as the innovators product. The rest of the drug makeup needs to be completely different. My team develops testing methods for these medicines for the laboratories to use for release testing.

Thanks for clarifying! To the uninitiated (like me) it sounds pretty much like the same thing  but I trust when you say that it’s not at all :)
