Tried to take a ladies mirror this morning. She was so preoccupied keeping me and a bloke in a bakkie behind her, that she ventured into oncoming traffic. As I passed I tried to take her mirror off. But I think the car that came the other way did the job that I could not...

@fhmarais, not cool man, not cool. The problem is that ALL bikers get a bad reputation. This is most likely why she drives li,e that in the first place.

Over the past six years of biking almost every day, I've only had people intentionally cut me off or try prevent me from passing on about four occassions. It is simply not worth giving these four idiots the satisfaction of me getting upset about it, they are such a small minority that it is not worth the effort.

also true. But for some reason in PTA east I get it every day. Yesterday even a bloke on a delivery bike was taken out.
Even on the bicycle you get people blocking you. Had a dame in a Subaru take me out because I tried to pass her while she was stationary. She just coasted towards the sidewalk in the little space she had and stopped me dead between the tar and a hard piece of car

Hi Krefie CCNA.

 

Tequila is a sneaky bitch. One minute you are dancing like a sexy mofo and the next you are on the ground pantsless, and making out with a shoe.

 

Transfer on my house went through this morning. Moving on Saturday.

Its a real PITA moving my 450lt with me being on the third floor and no lift.

The planning for the new bigger tank will start soon. Hoping to have enough space to build a 2500mm x 800mm x 700mm in the lounge wall :nuts:

Got soaked to work on the motorbike this morning, and now the sun in out in full force... What the heck

 

Cleaned my tank yesterday as well as one of my canisters,left my room for 30min or so and came back to a very wet floor.Turns out the canister was leaking because it wasn't properly sealed.

Tank temperature is also now stable at 22-24celsius,perfect for my GT's.Surprisingly the male isn't aggressive anymore.I am starting to wonder if they only get aggressive when the temperature is too high for their liking.

 

Had an outbreak of BBA in my tank 3 weeks ago that blossomed spectacularly to cover about everything in tank. All the plants leaves, spiderwood, rocks, everything covered. Tot ek my moer gestrip het because nothing helped to curb it. Broke the tank down completely to just gravel, rinsed that, brushed the sides and more and used the WAP on hardscape. Cleaned the canister and corner filter. Ditched about 90% of affected plants. Hope that sees the end of that BBA.

In Berlin today. Going to visit a large LFS here, then to the Berlin Aquarium, thereafter a place called Sea Life which has a 25 meter high cylindrical marine tank!!!

Ok, so here are some pictures. First was the Berlin Aquarium operated by the Berlin Zoo.

Then I went to a large LFS. Quality of fish very good, wide range of Corydoras sp., some interesting S American dwarf cichlids.

Lastly Sea World and their 25 meter high sphere marine tank. You go up the centre of it in a glass elevator. Very cool.
