Enjoy! I love the creative process :)

Hopefully Reafer left you some

Some epiphytes for the driftwood perhaps? Java fern, mini bolbitis, small anubias?

I went and checked... He was kind, plenty grapevine and spiderwood left for me.
Anyone used vine. How does it compare to spiderwood. Seems it will float until it rots pretty much
    .
Plant choice is still wide open at present. Still considering capping castings with pfs VS pfs only with root tabs

Away from fishes, tanks and aquatic plants, but still with plants...

Our Selenicereus Anthonyanus has produced a flower, and we're hoping it will bloom tonight.
It is one of the Moon Flower cacti, but contrary to normal cactus, this is an epiphytic plant, that only blooms for one night.

It varies. You need a solid piece and soak it outside as it is a nasty soaker. Once it can sink and you've scrubbed off the initial scum that grows it's pretty decent. I use a large piece of sandblasted vine in my 250l

We have used vine for years with no problem
I occasionally take it out tank and give it a good scrubbing and still good
Used spiderwood in the past and when I realized it was going all rotten

Another update on this snail. Suddenly died, so perhaps internal injuries?

Having a light over them helps hatching significantly ;)

Agree with @Hendre regarding the light.
It not only provides light, but also heat.

Put them on the kitchen windowsill this morning, if this batch doesn’t hatch I’ll buy a lamp. All our bedside lamps are wall mounted and I reckon it would be pushing it with the SO to put the bubbling hatchery in the bedroom
