Stuff that happened to you today but isn't worth a thread

A while ago I encountered a jumping spider busy laying eggs on a cloth, luckily I unfolded the cloth before using it. It seems the little ones are starting to hatch!

 

I have emptied a spider nest into my tank before, was a frenzy haha

 

I could never do that! I'm actually tempted to build these little jumpers a paludarium and raise them up. Jumping spiders are harmless to humans and quite cute.

Jumpers?? Cute! Found some pretty large specimens here and there

 

I think I might give a paludarium a try. A waterfall with some male guppies, a moss covered bank and reeds for the spiders. Left outside and open for mosquitoes and flies to try their luck...could be rather pretty

 

That sounds like a nice plan! Good luck with that!

Ok so coming back to this idea, I'm actually prepping for exams at the moment so can't really build anything. So I made a little enclosure with some peace-in-the-home, moss, and cork oak.
They now live under a lamp on my bedside table.

 

Looks cute! Hope they do well

Hatching some brine to put into my food mix Tomorrow!

 

That's one thing I still want to try sometime

 

happy days, found local stock of beautiful black rose Neocardinia today, pickup tomorrow. happy healthy and HUGE, only 4 but apparently they get some really nice rili's in too from time to time

 

So I'm a weak weak man. I bought all the shrimp they had(7) and then went elsewhere and got 2 more blue dreams

I have quite bad arachnophobia but have always considered the jumping spider to be a very cute animal.

 

likewise, i find it astounding thatsomething so small can be so complex, same attraction to shrimp i suppose

that they will,my initial intention was to breed to black as i couldn't find locally/affordably, then things got out of hand and i suddenly had options....so i bought all of them
looking at breeding boxes for now but for specific breeding i will do selection tanks long term
setting up a tank for a colleague at our office (manned 6 days a week) and @Reafer is waiting patiently for some shrimp from me too so they will also be split long term
