    thought I would update this one too and up load some pics of the tank and rays... at the moment I still have not put the male back in the tank with the females as I wanted to make Shure all was well with her after the pups were born and give her a rest (so to say) I will however be adding the male back into the tank now in feb and take it from there... the little Pups that were born are also doing very well and have grown. female I have sold and get updates often and she is doing well, the male pup is also doing well and I have to say is looking stunning...

    Nothing wrong with Snoopy's size @Cesar.. he is stunning and his colours are amazing what makes him looks smaller is that swimming pool you have him in!!!

    As for Ray.... the male ray.... well... you going to have to beg so nicely to get him back in your tank in February..... hahahhaa... they say posession is ownership....

    As @Snaily5 said, that is the average price for a motoro stingray at the moment

    Your hybrids ie pearl, marble, mantila crosses, are about R5000.00 depending on the mix
    Hybrids in general stay smaller than motoros

    Your black rays ie Black Diamonds (Leopoldi) Henlei's (P12) and Itaituba (P14) you looking at over R10 000.00 each depending on breeder they come from

    Hey @Cesar and @MariaS, any updates on the tanks, rays and arowana? Very excited to see. I wonder if you guys know of anyone selling geophagus. I am looking for about 5-6 of them for a new tank?

    good morning Perry... all fish are dong well.
    few things have changed on the tank as I introduced the male back in with the females and strait away he wanted to mate the two mature females in the tank. I did however see a problem as the big log I had in the tank did not give him space in witch to do what he needed to. so I've had to rescape the tank to free up the mid water column and a bit more floor space.
    I have seen a def matting with the same female that was mated the first time (Rose). I have also had to put the Male pup that was born at home as well as the black diamonds into the tank.
    I have to be honest and say that the little male pup that I kept from the litter I had is turning out to be rather stunning and has grown very well...
    as far as Geos go I would loo at the classified section for a Gentleman buy the name Harve, I got a bunch from him at a good price and I know he has some more he would like to sell.... other wise I have seen a few around the local fish shops...

    @Cesar,
    I am a purist tbh, and not so keen on these Ray hybrids. But can see why people like them

    You must have quite a few Rays now.
    How many exactly?
