Thanks for the input guys! Fiddled a bit with the tank do day. I am getting my seachem tablets during the course of next week.

All that is left to do is the light

I gave my plant selection a bit of thought.

I think I will use Java Fern on the one side at the back of the tank and then some vallis or Hygrophila corymbosa var. siamensis.

Then for the middle I am looking at anubias and the some java moss or any foreground plant to cover most of the bottom.
Thoughts and suggestions will be appreciated

I got my seachem flourish tablets today.

When should I add them to the tank?

@Henkie, Just remember that both Java Ferns and Anubias can't be planted into the substrate or the rhizomes will rot and your plants will die. I suggest that you attach your Java ferns to small rocks or pieces of wood either by using some cotton to tie them to the rock or superglue to attach them and then arrange them along the sides as you want.

Don't add your tablets until you have your final layout of plants and decor or you will just waste them. Once you have everything sorted then you push the tabs into the subs right by the roots of the plants.

So I left the tank to do its thing for the passed couple of weeks and I have a question for you guys.

Will 4 Cory catfish be to much for this little tank of mine?
Can I have 4 different species in one tank? ( as I know they prefer to be in numbers )

Thanks for the advice so far!

O didnt read what else is in the tank or what substrate. But i think pigmy corrys might work. Tbe same sort of corys always look better. They can of corse be mixed. By think any other corry wil be to big. Better optiom in my opinion would be rosy loaches if you want a bottom feeder

I have never heard of a rosy loach before, nice little loach and never seen a pigmy corry in one of our lfs...

So if I want to get 2 skunk corries that is it right?

The thing is they want to be in groups.

4 panda corys would be fine.
The skunk cory, is it Corysdoras Arcuatus? Or did you mean skunk loach/botia. If you meant the botia, then I would say you should stay away from them because they can get rather agro.

@Firefly was talking about the Corysdoras Arcuatus .

I was thinking one of them, one Corydoras aldolfoi , one Corydoras agassizi and one panda cory

@Henkie For such a small number of cories, it would be best to stick with one species.
