Same here, except I don't do the annoying part. I get annoyed. I'm married. I used to be mega-big into fish keeping and breeding, but twenty years ago I gave it up for an even better hobby: Gliding. Unfortunately, I cannot pursue this passion anymore, so I'm back into fish keeping.

@Nick I am a production process artisan in the petrochemical sector. Used to be called senior process controllers but this new NQF thing turned it all upside down

 

I'm a learning material development coordinator for a large mining company, by trade an instrument mechanician, used to work at the same petrochemical company as @Double-D.

 

I'm a Medical Orthotist/Prosthetist. I make artificial limbs for all the bikers, and a lot of other stuff too.

as someone who almost needed one i dont envy you , i think people try to deny the truth and dont want to put in the phsyio a lot of the time< i know i didnt , but is freaky when you told to exercise a leg that still bends in the wrong place> also hope you dont have to deal much with gvt hospitals. fortunately i managed to go pvt before they took my leg off. now i got the joy of some nice titanium , and a dodgy ankle, but rather that than a pegleg .

 

At the moment. Just selling all the junk i have accumulated over 8 years.

What i used to do to pay rent
Ran a pet store (if i can call it that) from a flea-market & then a small retail store.
Before that - Lan support & networking --> paid the rent but drove me insane. Gave my ex manager 1 years notice. He took it as a joke until d day

 

I am a vertical transport engineer (Field Engineer) on elevators doing upgrades, designing and building the controllers of elevators that you might be getting into.

Also got a 400zzr Kawa but I want to upgrade in the near future.
