Up to 4 fry in the anubias tank now (well that I can see) - 2 free swimming, 2 on the glass. Got a pic of a free swimmer who came to say hello. I took this pic 3 days after removing adult fish

Looking at the pic I think this tank needs some assassin snails, some otos and the glass needs a cleaning

I moved some moss today from the Sawbwa fry tanks to my spawning tanks. I can now confirm 6 sawbwa fry that are 6 weeks old. They are actually large enough to move to the adult tank I think. Will have a look again tomorrow once the water has settled a bit and decide whether I want to move them or give them some additional grow time

Update time: My first batch of fry are ready to be moved to the adult tank - probably a job for this coming weekend. I have 8 in total. My second batch of fry is about 6 weeks old and growing well. I counted 4 this morning which is one more than I usually count. Both batches now look like the adult female sawbwas. Males will only colour in once they have reached their full size or very near to it. So I am now up to 21 fish - think thats enough for their current tank. Once I have moved the first batch of fry I will give their tank a good clean and start again. I managed to get many, many anubais which are going in the breeding tanks.

Update time: From my 21 fish 2 have died so I am at 19 now. The males have coloured up very nicely and I often see them sparring. I have another 4 fry which are just about ready to move into the adult tank. I have no plans for their tank as yet so they can stay there until I want to use the tank for fry again. I have prepared 2 other tanks for fry and during the course of this week am planning on cleaning and preparing my spawning tanks - 2 of them. One housed my emerald rasbora fry which have been moved/died. The other houses some celestial fry which I have sold and am just waiting for the new owner to pick up. So holding thumbs that I can be up and running with the spawning by this weekend.
