    not the best DIY ... but man even makes the small magnet scraper useful ...

    Ok my mind is not letting this go ... woke-up and first thing I pull out is the lego ...

    Not sure why minora does not comply to the universal standard of lego hole spacing - so some things are not meshing 100%

    Quick test (running out of thanks that I want to remove algae form) it works OK but needs a backing on the blade - the flex is a bit much.

    And now the follow up question: Any tips on managing algae? So that they dont grow back so fast?

    More plants seems to help me keep the algae down, and a couple algae eaters; I've been eyeing a large Hi Fin...

    Best algae eaters are shrimps, snails and otocinclus. Big plecos don't tend to have so much of a green-tooth...

    Best is to get a light/fert balance :)

    yeah got one - tried with the shaving blade .. works well no issues with that, but



    I do have a thread miss match - so will be checking with them on Thursday, is this batch a lemon or just this one.

    Some interesting algae scrapers!

    One thing to keep in mind, especially with sharp blades, is be very careful in the corners. Don't want to start cutting into the silicone joins.

    I bought this R60..with out the sponge.
    On that note how u guys remove scratches from outside the glass. If i want to do the inside its obvious to drain the tank,:).
