Ram Cichlid Group Interest

I got a beaut from Altum, im sure he will have

 

Would you believe, someone abandoned a Bolivian ram ? I found my at my LPS reject tank, its a tank that is mainly full of over sized fish that get to big for there owners.
@PappaBear if you do find Bolivian rams let me know please

 

Have honestly not seen any for months, but have been lfs browsing that much..... (been a hectic time!)

Hopefully I'll be setting up 3 tanks over the weekend, but even then I won't have space for new fish. My existing fish need seperate breeding tanks, so seems me getting rams (german or bolivian is on ice for now....)

 

I wanna join this group as well. I just love Rams. Don't have a tank of my own or have kept any but I hope to in the future when I move into a place of my own. If I do get Rams then I want a proper tank and set up so not rushing into anything at the moment. Actually a blessing in disguise as I get to learn more about the Rams and their requirements.

Would be nice if people could tell more about their tank set ups and maintenance for the beloved Rams. Yes one can read in books and internet about that but I would rather hear from someone that actually kept them and their experiences with the Rams

 

@Ice 180, if you are interested in joining all you have to do is go down to the groups at the bottom of the front page and join there. This thread has been pretty quiet lately, but I'll get back to you a little later with details of my setup for my Rams. I'm sure some of the other group members can help out too.
