    Just an idea of the hardscape I'll be going for... this is 3 pieces of wood.

    I quite like it. It will give a nice dimension from 3 different angles.

    Not to this tank, no. I'm going to attempt an iwagumi in a 450 x 450 x 450 cube once the main tank is up and running.

    @Singularity - That is an ADA Solar I light. It's a 150watt Metal Halide. 8000K bulb.

    I got a test sheet from the JMP place and I got another piece from a mate and cut the 2 pieces to make 1 piece. It's not stuck on.

    Holy Cow!!! I have been spending too much time on my cube today... I have set it up. Almost electrocuting myself in the process. And almost flooding the house. Sheesh. I am moeg now...

    I'll post some pics later during the week.

    So, this is what she is looking like. I only have pics of the half filled tank. Then the water explosion happened, and I forgot to take filled pics. Will take some later.

    Planting took me around 4 hours. I am amazed at the amount of HC I got out of my little nano... It's should fill in pretty quickly.

    Filling, after planting.

    Top Down:

    There is an oily film on the top of the water. I think it is from the Aquasoil, or the wood.

    The damned wood also started to float. It wasn't waterlogged enough yet, so now there is an ugly rock chilling on top of it.

    But I am well chuffed with the results! As you can see, there is plenty of real estate left for planting.
