I removed all the Staurogyne Repens from my home tank and replanted it in this tank today...the few off cuts that were in here were growing, but rather slowly and needed to make some room in the other tank.

Also got the good news from Pet Stop that my Crystal Red Shrimps are on their way...

Shrimps arrived this evening. Dropped them off at the office tank on the way home. Still amazes me how small these guys come in.

Oh dear, shrimp in the office tank. No turning back now. MST ( multiple shrimp tanks ) is sure to follow.

Good to see you are embracing the tropical scene.

lol ya if I can get my hands on shrimps there may be multiple tanks :p

I bought this full setup to have as a shrimp tank...its on its way with the couriers, but its now been 3 days and more than likely wont get here before Monday earliest...so fear the worst.

Thanks, really hope they breed and increase in numbers in the tank. :D

There is one large bag of Seachem Fluorite Black in this tank.

Did a water change on this tank for the first time in over 3 weeks I think...it was also the first time I have seen all 4 of my Crystal Red Shrimp since they were placed in the tank. :)

Added 5 Neons to this tank last week Friday to try and entice all the micro Rasboras in the tank out of hiding. It seems to be working...starting to see the other fish more and more lately, so glad that has worked out well. :D

Added 10 Blue Aura Shrimps to the tank today...been waiting for these to come in for a couple of months now...they have also added some activity and life to the tank...the 4 Crystal Red shrimp are still around, but they take after the Rasboras and are very secretive...hoping the new shrimp will bring the CRS out a bit more too.

Wanted to add a few more shrimp to this tank and possibly the home tank, but had to put a deposit down on this little guy yesterday! He arrives at the end of the month! :)

I've noticed some of the Stauregyne Repens leaves dying off over the last week or so...other plants all see to be doing well...possibly not doing enough water changes on this tank or not...possibly need to start adding some form of fertilizer as I havent added anything to the tank in ages.

An updated FTS as the last time I posted anything on the tank was over 2 months ago...tank is still going along at its own pace...gets neglected a lot compared to my other tanks with it being at work...looking into getting a new light unit for it in the coming days.

Still loving it ... slow slow is so much better ... you must almost want to say nothing is growing - till you compare pics taken months apart. Then you can say WOW, this is awesome.

After setting up my new 4ft tank I had half a bag of Aquasoil left over and my old Quad light unit...so I traded in some of my left over plants for a new 2ft tank. The result is a make over of this tank at my office. After redoing the tank I moved over the fish livestock to my new home tank...it is currently home to loads of Blue Jelly Shrimps and 5 Pencil fish.
