It's off white, but pretty white imo. I had it in one of my tanks a few years ago... will find a pic quick.

Thanks Lindy. It doesn't look that much whiter than pfs. I think I'll wait for the super white stuff next year. It gives the waterfall a nice natural look.

Yeah, not as white as what you're after. I look forward to seeing what the waterfall looks like when you get the sand :)

I'm really glad that Derik thought of this challenge. I didn't realize how much fun a nano could be. Already getting some good growth. The combination of 8w led, carbon(Excel) and ei(low concentration) dosing seems to be working great.

Added a few cycads(small Java ferns:)) onto the cliff. Also introduced 20 full black juvi guppies, along with lots of glass shrimp over the period of a week.

Nice addition of the Java fern...it just adds that little something extra to the rock face!

Haha.... I've started to notice algae starting to form on the rocks. Knew it:). Anyway, a pic of a male and female black guppy, of which there are about 20 in the tank.

Agree, that java fern looks great, and if it starts getting too big, you can always trim the larger leaves off.

Thanks Lindy. I think I'll close this tank down next year. I want to do something similar, only bigger.

Thanks @DerikPelser. Yeah, the plants are growing surprizingly well. Think it must be the Excel.

I caught this guy poaching in my river. Can't say I blame him... Looks like a likely place to catch salmon...

Awesome @Broder . I have the exact same fisherman figurine (and a bigger one) at home! If it wasn't for the ripples on the water one would never guess its a fish tank.. So life like (if that makes sense).

Yeah @BadgerBadger, those ceramic bonsai ornaments are cool. They actually look handmade, but are ridiculously cheap for the labour that goes into them. The Chinese are unbeatable.

Not sure how long I'm going to keep the tank going Ferdie. Think I'll just let it reach its potential and then see.
