Light was an issue thats why i used the flash but I forgot to bring the iso down. and i would love to get a faster shutter speed but its just was too dark. the iso made some noise but i should have cleaned the glass before i took the photo. only saw it once i put it on the pc. its hard to get one of the orange ones to stand still. the camera doesn't really have manual focus . that would help me allot.

OK, I'll give in...

And just because I am Zoom, my first one is going to be VERY different. It is of a "friend" who helped me with a water change one afternoon...



This is my current male Angel protecting his bunh of +/- 75 to 100 wrigglers. The female was going baserk at the top of the tank trying to chase my hand away, that I had placed on the glass at the top to distract her whilst taking this pic.

My contribution. Had to use the flash unfortunately, my zoom lens doesn't have a big enough aperture or IS

 

I don't have one Vee!! Maybe I'll enter next month if ZP doesn't want me as a judge??

I don't have a lens thats really able to focus close up enough for my liking!!

@Zoom!! Love that mantis!! They are one of my favourite insects!! I had to catch one the other day and carry it out before the missus saw it!! lol!!

Ok sorry apparently you cant move an image to another album. Just removed my entry.

 

I need to dust the camera off this weekend first. I haven't used it for months, I just don't have as much time anymore to go looking for birds and finding good shots of 'life' in general :blink1:

Well my photographic skills are not great and this was taken with a cheap samsung 3.2MP camera, it was taken about 2 years back as can be seen, only surviving fish from that Tank is a common Plec that I now have for nearly 3 years.

 

Gotta agree with everyone regarding Vis blurry image... that's one awesome picture! Very abstract
