    Thanks guys for the thumbs up on these angels. Will post a pic later of one of the platinums that came out of this batch.

    One of the young platinums from the Philippine blue line.

    @pHish_man,

    Like the platinum.
    I have one, and it seems very slow growing.
    Is yours the same?

    I have 2 pairs of Philippine Blue , as a rule I find they grow just as fast as any of my other Angels.

    Yes I have found that too. In a spawn of around 200, perhaps 25% are platinums and they are slightly slower than the Philippine blue siblings.

    I have a plan with the platinum in the photo above, watch this space.....

    I see it still has that slight orange/brown in the dorsal.

    Yes, quite correct. There is a feint gold tinge between the blue bars and that is something I will aim to clean up in due course.

    No thank heavens NOT, but I do have a pair of pearlscale PB angels which I have bred previously. Of their off-spring there was 1 platinum that ive kept and then 1 pearlscale male. The rest were shipped to a customer in Bloem.

    I don't like pearlscale......doesn't do it for me to be honest.
