Pearlscale "Peruvian Altum" Scalare Angels Spawned

I think the reason why the female went into attacking mode is that my shadow could have spooked her when I passed the tank during the course of the early hours of the morning. The bed-lamp light attracted the fry to the one side of the tank and the male was guarding this batch and female had a small batch.

 

Yesterday this pair spawned again, female laid her eggs on the big sponge filter.

 

this morning noticed eggs wriggling so hatching process has started only a few unfertiled eggs amongst the batch. looks like another large batch of fry.

this passion i had when i was younger and came back 5 years ago.

 

parents has removed wrigglers from the sponge filter and placed them onto corner surface of the tank that they prepared where they initially was going to lay their eggs.

Fry are growing fast, yesterday the pair spawned again this would be round number 5

 

Since having this pair they produced since over 1000 eggs thus far

 

By friday the eggs had hatched and parents removed wrigglers from the filter plate where they had spawned and place fry in an area where they had prepared. By this morning some of the fry became free swimming, added a few drops of liqui-fry in the tank and fry started come up to feed.

 

mine took a 2 month break from spawning but started again last week,got some wrigglers yesterday

 

I have tried to give this pair a break by adding them with my other angels. It took them 3 days to adapt but found their way back to each other. I removed them and placed them back into their spawning tank and 3 days later at it again. This pair is on the roll and how they could show my other Angels a lesson on how to spawn and taking care of their eggs and fry. One female tried laying her eggs onto one of the other angels I found it very funny.

 

Ha ha ha...That's so funny. They can be a bit daft at times...
