The eggs are still in my tank , decided to leave a night light on so the adults could watch over the eggs through out the night , as expected some have turned white , a few have also been eaten mostly when the angels take a break for some blood worms. Still about 400 fertile eggs.

Thanks @ROEKSTE , unfortunately it looks like the second pair ate there own eggs , female was really upset with the male and by the time I got home yesterday there was about 10 eggs left and the pair had abandoned the nest , I have moved both pairs into there own spawning tanks now , so here's hoping that once they settle things will go much better with the next round, will deff let you know

So tonight I have platinum angel wigglers, woop woop , decided to remove the parents this time and use methylene blue and air stone , looks like about 350 eggs have made it to this point.

It could be , also sexing angels is really difficult and often can only be done once they actually spawn , unfortunately just having 2 angels is often not enough , usually people get between 4 and 6 angels and then let them form pairs naturally , so how many angels do you have?

It can be both , 2 males will lip lock to decide dominance between them and the right to breed , but a male and female may also lip lock if the female wants to test the strength of her potential mate so it could be either reason , with my angels I just started noticing that the same 2 would simply stay together most of the time in their own part of the tank.

Just remember angels usually only start breeding at around 12 months old.
