    Hey hey!!

I was driving and shopping for 5 hours today, both those things I absolutely HATE.

Don’t feel like it I’ll start building it at 7am tomorrow morning.

Edit: Plus I only have 2 clamps that fit on the glass, my other clamps are way too big,

And before you say anything I know I can build it without them but I like using them and they make life easier haha.

Thats when I switch on my shrimp tank lights and remove the insulation. Haha.

Its really freaking cold at that time, stay close to a creek, so it gets chilly.

The creek is free hardscape though. When you build a big tank you'll need it :lol:

And just stock it with big fish.

Soo last couple of days I probably got around 500+ more baby Amano’s, still have some berried females too.

Did a little water top up tonight, also got some new additions I’ll post a photo tomorrow.

I’ve also been thinking of changing my 10 000L above ground pool into a pond, but im not sure how I would go about doing that yet, and also no clue what I’m going to stock it with as I’m not going to heat it.

But thats a plan for another day haha.

    I’ll have a look,

I’m actually quite stuck now between heating or not.

I would like to stock it with some big fish, like redtail cats that people can’t house anymore, and some other fish. But I will need to heat it during the winter months. Summer I really wouldn’t have to worry about heating.

Maybe you could look at solar heating? It would cost a lot to set up, but then wouldn't really have any running costs.
Solar heating for pools also doesn't seem to heat the water super hot, so no fear of accidentally cooking your fish, but does keep it comfortable.

If I do go with heating, I’ll definitely run it through a thermostat to control the heating as I am 100% sure I won’t need to heat it during summer.

Plus with solar it wont be able to heat it during the night, if I’m thinking of the correct one, so then I’ll need to connect that to a sensor/timer so that it doesn’t try heating the water at night and just pumps out all the cold water in the system.

If I do heat the system I’ll probably go with solar and a gas heater, like the ones you connect on your house, or I’ll do electrical and solar.

Honestly think the gas and solar would be best.

I’ll then connect them so the gas is used during the night and the solar during the day. But I’ll make sure that I have an additional switch so that if it’s cloudy or whatever outside and the system isn’t heating up as it should it should kick over to the gas as well.

Buuuut I don’t know yet still just a thought and I haven’t looked in to anything yet.
