FYI. TURTLES ARENT LEGAL IN SOUTH AFRICA, I DO NOT LIVE IN SA ANYMORE THUS THE REASON I AM ABLE TO KEEP ONE.

Mods, if this is an issue I will gladly remove, posting in caps as well before I get tons of messages where to get one haha.

Soooo, I went to the store to buy fish for the above tank a couple weeks after the last post, and I ended up buying a turtle…..

When I saw them in the petshop I could not resist.

This was the little guy when I just got him, just a tiny little thing.




Since then he went into a bigger tank (almost 2 weeks ago as he outgrew the old tank) and that is still a work in progress but getting there

Had to rebuild the stand as the old stand was damaged badly due to the tank leaking, stripped entire tank from silicone and redid everything, so good to go for a while again.






Holy moly do I love this little guy, they are so adorable and he has quite the personality.

Perhaps update your location….

Here in NZ there are a few shops that keep turtles. Have been tempted to get one but decided against.

 

Yea but people don’t check it and then they spam you with messages where to buy one lol.

So I just put it at the top.

I myself am in NZ but looking at moving to Auz
