Depending on your angels size... They can possibly nip even eat your neons and guppies...

As for the plants... no idea. also gonna start doing some planted tanks and see what comes up... trail and error for me there.

30 barbs will should keep each other busy...neons & guppies will become food for the Angels (depending on size of Angels). But even for a 4 foot, that seems like a heavy load of fish. Barbs can also get quite large.

Also read recently on the forum somewhere that the Aquasoil can drop the pH to below 7 (i.e. water becomes acidic), so you may want to monitor that closely depending on how sensitive your fish are.

I think most small schooling fish will become food for Angels...Neons & Cardinals are probably the brightest on offer...depending on substrate, maybe a school of Panda Corys? I also dream of getting Clown Loaches, but they get pretty big so you can't really have a big school. Maybe some of the other Barbs?

tiger barbs is also not the best mate for them. Rummy nose tetras, emperor tetras, they work well. i even have pristilla tetras with 13 angels and they don't do anything with them. you must just get them in biger sizes. mostly you will only find them when they are still small in the LFS. my tetras have been in another tank for 6months. so they are to big to be considered food. watch out for nippy tetras like Rio and red eye tetras, i had cucos blue tetras also but they tend to be nippy. cherry barbs also work well with them. but again have to grow them out a bit first. my rummy nose tetras was quite small and they didnt get eaten

Oh dear...did it rip off the bottom bit? Guess that's what Zoom meant. So the question comes into play...what would be the maximum volume of poly vs surface area glued which would not rip up?

Mine is a background only, and I glued it all over once I saw how buoyant it was, and it hasn't shown any signs of wanting to detach itself. Maybe the fact that yours is only attached at the bottom is an issue? Maybe hollow out/melt out the insides of that bit to reduce the volume of poly. You could do this at the back where it would be less visible. You still need the whole bottom surface area.

Just looked up the buoyancy of poly here . If my maths is correct it equates to 0,77 Kilogram/Cubic Meter. I'm not an engineer so I wouldn't even know where to begin with calculating the rest but maybe someday we'll find someone that knows the internal forces of the poly and the strength of the silicone sealer :)

So the block of poly didn't 'rip' from the base of poly?
