    Great thanks @Reedfish
Although not visible in these pics, these stems all grow out from a central point partly buried by the sand - all part of 1 plant. Also the stems are about 2-3cm thick

Pics of my holiday in the province of Friesland. There are several islands in front of our shore in a Naturereserve called The Wadden / Waddenzee / Waddengebied.
    We visited one called Schiermonnikoog

A lot.of birds migrating to Africa pass the Waddenzee (Wadden Sea) to fourage and fatten up for the long journey.

    What an awesome place.[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

There are some woods nearby me with patches of open fields.
Apparently there are some Little Owls on the verges of fields.
I have been many times to look for them, but have yet to see them :(

The room / windowsill is probably not humid enough.
I could shift around some of my tropical ferns in the kitchen, but would then struggle with them.

I have too many plants indoors
